About

Founded by Philomena DellaSalla, a passionate New York City High School Student, EduVoiceNY was born from the idea that young people don’t have to wait to make a difference. After Philomena interned for SparksWithinReach, a nonprofit focused on providing tutoring and mentoring services to students experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, she saw firsthand how policies affect students’ daily lives. She realized that students themselves should have a say in those policies. Her mission is to bridge the gap between youth and policymakers – making information on education bills accessible and empowering students to advocate for laws that ensure equity and quality in education for all.
